SECD and IOM finished the first stage of the Winter repose project 2017/2018

The situation for IDPs generally forces the crisis-affected populations to resort to negative coping strategies in order to survive, such as selling remaining assets, decreasing food intake, as well as allowing early marriage and child recruitment and labour due to economic pressures. The most vulnerable groups, such as girls and boys, pregnant or lactating women, ill and elderly in the besieged/ Hard to Reach/underserved areas and IDPs in the informal or formal settlements are most at risk.
