Support the displaced and vulnerable families in the host communities

Syrian Engineers for Construction and Development #SECD to support the displaced and vulnerable families in the host communities by rehabilitating their damaged houses in Baksaryia, Hanbushiyeh and Armala in Jisr Ash-Shughur district, from 01/07/2020 to 02/28/2021.
This project aims to meet the shelter needs of 400 families, with a number of beneficiaries of about 2,082 people, including (1158 displaced persons, 799 hosts, and 125 returnees).
As the rehabilitation works have been completed in some houses in Baksaryia and Hanboushiyeh, works are underway to complete the rest of the works in the remaining targeted houses.
Rehabilitation activities include, but are not limited to: installation and maintenance of doors and windows, interior and exterior plastering, install of water tanks, plumbing and electrical works, and providing solar energy for house lighting.
In total, 160 houses were rehabilitated in Hanbushiyeh, in addition to 118 houses in Baksaryia, and works are still continuing to rehabilitate 122 houses in Armala.
The Syrian Engineers Organization adheres to COVID-19 procedures during the implementation of all its activities. In addition, the organization receives complaints through complaints boxes installed in the target villages or the complaint’s number.
