Support the IDPs and vulnerable households of the host communities through undertaking the rehabilitation of their damaged and unfinished shelters

Syrian Engineers for Construction and Development (SECD) to continue implementing the shelter project titled “Support the IDPs and vulnerable households of the host communities through undertaking the rehabilitation of their damaged and unfinished shelters ” at Baksariya, Hanbushiyeh, and Armala communities in Jisr Ash-Shughur district. From 01/07/2020 to 28/02/2021, this project aims to meet the shelter needs of 400 families, with a number of beneficiaries close to 2082 people, including (1158 IDPs, 799 hosts, 125returnees). Rehabilitation works have been completed in most of the targeted houses and delivered to the beneficiaries. rehabilitation activities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Install and repair doors and windows, interior and exterior plaster.
  2. Install water tanks, plumbing, and electrical installations.
  3. Provide houses with solar energy that will be used in lighting.

Syrian Engineers organization adheres to the procedures of COVID-19 during the implementation of all its activities. In addition, the organization receives complaints through complaint boxes and complaint’s WhatsApp number.
