Improving the personal hygiene sector is a top priority for the Syrian Engineers for Construction and Development. As the humanitarian crisis in Syria intensifies—leading to higher poverty rates, an increase in the number of displaced persons, and the spread of diseases and epidemics due to neglect of personal and public hygiene—the organization’s team, as part of the Emergency Response Project for newly displaced persons and host families in northern Syria, distributed hygiene kits to displaced families from the Idlib and southern Aleppo countryside in the town of Deir Sam’an.
