Camp Management and Coordination in Northwest Syria

The Syrian Engineers for Construction and Development (SECD) has launched a project within the Camp Management and Coordination sector in Northwest Syria.

The project aims to mitigate the impact of fires and floods in 68 IDP camp locations across the areas of Jabal Samaan, Jisr al-Shughur, and Maarrat Misrin.

Through this initiative, the capacity of internally displaced persons (IDPs) will be strengthened to prevent large-scale fires and severe flooding impacts in camps. This will be achieved by establishing Rapid Response Teams consisting of 17 to 50 volunteers in each camp. These teams will be trained and equipped with the necessary tools and materials for effective emergency response.
