The Syrian Engineers for Construction and Development Organization (SECD) has released its Annual Report for 2022. Throughout the year, SECD implemented a variety of strategic, multi-sectoral projects focused on improving infrastructure, supporting the water sector, solid waste management, health and hygiene awareness campaigns, as well as garbage collection initiatives.
Number of beneficiaries from the projects in 2022:
- WASH Sector (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene): 51,248 beneficiaries
- Shelter / Non-Food Items Sector: 20,263 beneficiaries
- Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM): 50,223 beneficiaries
- Protection Sector: 8,141 beneficiaries
- Education Sector: 1,487 beneficiaries
- Early Recovery Sector: 2,376 beneficiaries
Total beneficiaries: 133,738 individuals
