Providing safe drinking water—especially during times of conflict—is one of the greatest challenges facing local communities and humanitarian organizations. As part of the Syrian Engineers for Construction and Development’s efforts to ensure clean and sterilized water for displaced persons, the organization’s teams conducted field visits to water wells in the villages of the Atarib and Darat Izza subdistricts in the western countryside of Aleppo. Water samples were collected for analysis to ensure their suitability for drinking.
