Displacement camps in northwestern Syria suffer from dire humanitarian conditions, especially with the arrival of the rainy season which often leads to severe floods that cause significant damage to the tents and belongings of the displaced.
The Syrian Engineers for Construction and Development (SECD) is currently working on the construction of rainwater drainage networks, insulation and graveling of tents, as well as graveling the roads inside 11 camps located in the Jabal Samaan region and the countryside of Jisr al-Shughur.
