Qassem Al-Araj, one of the families affected by the earthquake, was living with his family in severe damage, and his house needs urgent rehabilitation. Qassem is also the caregiver for a child with disability; this increases the size of the responsibilities and living burdens and daily challenges.
Qassem submitted a complaint through the designated community WhatsApp number. The complaints verification team responded promptly and conducted a field visit to document the damage and carefully assess the situation. Based on the assessment results, the case was approved and included among the list of beneficiaries.
This process reflects the project’s commitment to fairness, transparency, and effective responsiveness to community feedback, ensuring that assistance reaches those who truly need it. Thanks to the generous support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), and SECD who implemented the project), the house was fully rehabilitated and equipped to provide a safe and dignified shelter and good living environment, restoring a sense of security and stability to the family.
Qassem expressed his deep gratitude for this humanitarian support, stressing that security had returned to his family and that their daily lives had become more stable.
