Release of the 2018 Annual Report of the Syrian Engineers for Reconstruction and Development Organization

• A new year has passed, and the technical staff of the Syrian Engineers for Reconstruction and Development Organization continue to provide their services to the Syrian people inside Syria and Turkey without ethnic, sectarian, political, or religious discrimination. Our goal is to please God first, then the beneficiaries of the organization’s services. The organization works in the sectors of water and sanitation, shelter, non-food assistance, camps, early recovery, education, protection, food security, and livelihoods, with special attention to water and sanitation. The organization strives to empower the Syrian citizen in general and the Syrian engineer in particular to build a strong society that leads itself and achieves sustainable development.
• Despite all obstacles and limited funding, the organization managed to reach 263,166 beneficiaries in 2018.
• The organization worked on rehabilitating infrastructure in many areas of northern and southern Syria, reduced poverty levels in targeted areas, developed the capacities of many local councils, enhanced the skills of Syrian engineers, and will continue its work and assistance in cooperation with its partners. We hope that 2019 will be a year of goodness, blessing, and peace for the Syrian people.
