Fayez Ataba… From the Hardship of Tents to the Warmth of House
Fayez Ataba’s house was completely destroyed by the earthquake, leaving his family in a dire situation. The tragedy was compounded by the fact that the family includes two members with disabilities, and the head of the household is an elderly man struggling with difficult living conditions. They were forced to live in tents that doesn’t offer enough protection from the winter cold or the summer heat.
Thanks to the generous support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), and the Syrian Engineers for Construction and Development (SECD) which provided a prefabricated housing unit to the family. This dignified shelter offered them safety and comfort after such a heavy ordeal.
Today, the family has regained a sense of security, and their life has begun to stabilize once again. The family expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to KSrelief and SECD for this humanitarian support.
