The Syrian Engineers for Reconstruction and Development Organization has implemented several activities within the project “Providing Sanitation Services and Promoting Personal Hygiene through Community Support in Northern Syria,” benefiting approximately 166,592 people to date. The following activities have been carried out:
1. Extension and rehabilitation of 6,019 meters of the sewage network.
2. Construction of 103 sewage manholes.
3. Construction of 97 rainwater drains.
4. Distribution of 3,000 hygiene kits to the most vulnerable families.
5. Distribution of 3,000 hygiene kits for infants.
6. Support for 40 sanitation workers with monthly salaries.
7. Provision of garbage collection tools.
8. Provision of three vehicles and maintenance for the broken vehicles.
9. Provision of 1,000 garbage containers.
10. Supply of diesel for the vehicles.
11. Conducting cleaning campaigns covering the entire city of Dana.
12. Clearing the landfill site.
